Violence Is Not Inevitable. It Is Preventable.

The Foundation for the Prevention of Violence is a Utah-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preventing violence through education, early intervention, school safety, and community empowerment.

Our programs include school security assessments, student-led bullying prevention, tabletop roleplaying-based empathy education, and accessible self-defense training.

We believe lasting safety begins long before violence occurs.

White Wolf Self-Defense

We teach hand-to-hand defense along with behavioral profiling, criminology, and victimology to give you the tools you need to stay safe on a day-to-day basis.

Every year, FPV throws a charity fundraiser on the tabletop gaming floor at FanX. We run free D&D games, officiate Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering tournaments, teach self-defense classes, and hold a charity auction where you can win awesome merch—and all proceeds go toward funding our programs!
